Reinforced Microcement is the ultimate choice for high-strength walking surfaces, making it ideal for public areas, offices, and private homes alike. Its smooth and uninterrupted continuity creates a sleek and minimalist appearance with soft light and dark shades. This versatile material offers a wide range of decorative options, from a natural stone look to a marble finish and everything in between. Enhance its beauty further with the addition of glitters, mother of pearl, mica flakes, salt & pepper sand, terracotta powder, and other additives.
Reinforced Microcement is a versatile and durable solution, made from a blend of quartz, marble, and cement, bound together with epoxy resins. Certified as safe for potable water, it can be applied to a variety of substrates. However, due to its strength, it is important to ensure the substrate is solid and stable. Application on new cement screeds or untracked tile floors is recommended for those without experience in working with epoxy binders. To get the best results, it is recommended to have Reinforced Microcement applied by a specialised artisan.

A - INTRODUCTION:REINFORCED MICROCEMENT is a professional epoxy-cement used to create seamless floor surfaces. It is a very hard, versatile, non-toxic coating that can be applied in different finishing styles, suitable for a variety of environments. The system uses a mixture of three components to which other products can be added to obtain different finishes.
A1 - COMPONENTS:The base is composed of:
These three components should be mixed in these proportions 1:2:4 (in weight) to get a plaster that can be laid with a trowel.
A2 - ADDITIVES:The REINFORCED MICROCEMENT system allows for creative applications. Additives include:
A3 - SEALERS:The REINFORCED MICROCEMENT System is completed with a surface treatment to make it waterproof and easy to clean. Recommended treatments include:
B - SUBSTRATE PREPARATION:Before applying the product, a careful analysis of the substrate to be coated will ensure an excellent end-result. Suitable substrates include:
Unsuitable substrates include:
B1 - ANALYSIS OF THE SUBSTRATE:Ensure the substrate is fully cured to prevent movement after application.
B2 - EXPANSION JOINTS:On surfaces up to 40-50 m², expansion joints are not usually necessary unless there are structural cracks.
B3 - IF THE SCREED/TILED SUBSTRATE HAS CRACKS:Use a fiberglass reinforcing mesh on cracked surfaces to absorb movements. Apply the mesh with a strong plaster like GLP (Gap Levelling Plaster).
B4 - ABSORPTION DEGREE OF THE SUBSTRATE:Check the substrate's absorption degree. Sand the substrate if it doesn't absorb enough and apply a primer if it's too absorbent.
B5 - PRIMER AND REINFORCING MESH:Apply a primer mixture using the following proportions:
Apply this mixture over the entire surface with a roller.
